About Myself

The title of this essay is “About Myself”. I am going to write briefly about my childhood, by hobbies and interests and the things which have influenced and inspired me to study International Management and English. Finally, I am going to write about my dreams and plans for the future and how to help my country, Mongolia.

I was born in UB in 1991 and have one older brother. I live with my mother. My mother, having studied in Mongolia and Russia has a doctorate in psychology and is currently deputy director of a private Mongolian University. My brother has been studying law in Singapore for several years.  He speaks English, Russian and Chinese well. In my childhood I enjoyed playing football, basketball, and riding my bicycle.

For the last seven years I have been working as a computer graphics specialist. This is an interesting job which I enjoy and has also involved editing video material. The job has been useful in providing me with basic commercial and management experience.

I have several hobbies. For many years I have enjoyed listening to music. Many different styles have influenced me, including: Rock, Hip-Hop, K-Pop, R &B and Country. My favourite artists and groups include: Guns’n roses, Bone thugs’n harmony and  Aerosmith. Naturally, Mongolian music has also played a part: my favourite groups being Haranga, Camerton, Nomin Talst and Ice Top. Like most people of my age, I have enjoyed playing computer games for many years, especially sport games are mostly sport-related such as basket-ball and football. Since becoming a student, however, there is very little time to play these days.

As far as my dreams and plans for the future are concerned these are to help my country to develop and prosper. My professional plan is to work in export, primarily the export of “quality processed goods”. Mongolia’s main exports are its natural resources, such as coal, iron ore, copper etc practically all of which are exported to China. I believe that our country should develop the processing of its raw materials. This is a very difficult economic problem. I want to help export our products to markets around the world. In addition to English I have long wanted to also speak other languages such as Russian and Japanese.
